1 lb breakfast sausage
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
salt and pepper
Cook and brown sausage in a skillet. Sprinkle on top the flour. Mix in and add salt and pepper. Add the milk all at once while you stir constantly. Scrape the sausage drippings from the bottom of the skillet. When it gets as thick as you'd like take it off the heat. If its too runny just keep stirring it. It will thicken up.
